Priyamani was born on June 4 1984 in Palakkad, Kerala, to Vasudeva Mani and Latha Mani. She was brought up in Bangalore. During her school days she done modeling for Kancheepuram silks, Erode silks and Lakshmi silks. Famous Tamil Director, Bharathiraja who introduced her in his movie “Kangalal kaithi sei” with Dhanush , it was after her 12th standard.
