The films is an above average one, without any unwanted comedy scenes of comedy actors.
The action scenes, especially, the first action scene, which is just before the end of first part is grabbing great applause.
The song scenes are superb , especially the sexy scenes of actress hot Anushka.
Though the film goes in a usual track, and all the scenes are expected,
the movie is a good entertainer.

Vettaikaran is a Tamil feature film directed by B. Babusivan who with Vettaikkaaran makes his debut as a film director. The film is produced by M. Balasubramanian and B. Gurunath Meiyappan.The film is released by Sun Pictures. The film will star Vijay and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. Gopinath will be the film’s main cinematographer and V. T. Vijayan as the film’s editor. The film was launched in February 2009 and the shooting for the film commenced the following month.
The film’s background score and soundtrack, composed by Vijay Antony, was released on September 23, 2009. Vettaikaran was released on December 18, 2009 to favourable reviews
